  • The Application of Power Line Hardware

Supporting and Securing Power Lines: Electrical hardware plays a critical role in power engineering, primarily used to support and secure conductors, insulator strings, and other components of power lines. This helps ensure the stability and structural integrity of the lines, protecting them against the forces of nature such as wind, rain, and ice/snow.

Connecting the conductor to the insulator: Power fittings are also used to connect conductors to insulators, ensuring that the conductors remain securely suspended from the insulator strings. These connections must be strong and reliable to prevent conductors from coming loose or causing line interruptions.

Support insulator strings: Insulator strings are used to isolate high-voltage conductors in power lines, preventing current from leaking into the supporting structures. Power fittings are employed to support and secure the insulator strings, maintaining their proper position and spacing to ensure the safe operation of the transmission lines.

Grounding and Overvoltage Protection: Electrical hardware plays a critical role in grounding systems and overvoltage protection. They are used to connect conductors or equipment to the ground, enabling current to be safely directed toward the earth during power system overvoltages or faults, thereby safeguarding both equipment and personnel from potential damage.

Supporting power equipment: Power fittings are also used to support electrical equipment such as transformers, disconnect switches, and more. These fittings must possess sufficient strength and stability to withstand the weight of the equipment as well as the stresses encountered under operating conditions.

    Primary Application Scenarios

Overhead power lines: In overhead power lines, electrical hardware is used to support and secure conductors, lightning protection wires, and other components, ensuring the stable and safe operation of the system. These fittings are typically installed and maintained by the power supply department or power plants.

Substations and Power Plants: In substations and power plants, electrical hardware is used to connect and secure various electrical equipment, such as transformers and switchgear. These fittings play a critical role in the transmission and distribution of electricity, ensuring the stable operation of the power system.

Industrial and mining enterprises: Worker Mining companies also use power fittings when laying new transmission lines or upgrading their electrical facilities. These fittings are essential for meeting the company’s power needs and ensuring the safe operation of its electrical infrastructure.

FAQ

Delivery Method and Shipping Cost

Support FOB (Shanghai Port), CIF (Customer Designated Port), and other terms: FOB price excludes freight and insurance, CIF price includes freight and basic insurance to the destination port. Partner logistics providers include COSCO Shipping, DHL, etc., offering real-time tracking of logistics status via bill of lading number.

Delivery Time

The standard product delivery time is 15-30 days, and customized products take 3-6 weeks. Factors affecting delivery include raw material supply and production scheduling. We ensure delivery through a backup supplier database and intelligent scheduling system. In case of delay, a penalty compensation of 3% will be provided (up to a maximum of 5% of the total order amount).

Minimum order quantity

Different products have different MOQ: Power fittings 500 pieces per model, switchgear 10 units per model. Orders below MOQ will incur a 20% small order surcharge, or can be combined with other products to meet the minimum order quantity requirement.

Company R&D Capability

The R&D team accounts for 15%, with an average annual investment of 5% of sales revenue for technology upgrades. In the past 3 years, 12 utility model patents have been obtained. Customized products can be developed according to customer requirements to meet specific voltage levels and environmental adaptability (such as high temperature and high humidity).

Company Market Distribution

The product is mainly exported to Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE), Africa (Nigeria, Kenya), and other regions. In your area (can be identified based on customer IP), there are already 3 cooperative distributors, and anonymous customer case references can be provided (a confidentiality agreement must be signed).

Company History and Experience

Founded in 2005, with 18 years of experience in foreign trade, participated in power grid upgrade projects in multiple countries in Southeast Asia and Africa (such as the construction of a 220kV substation in Vietnam and rural power grid renovation in Kenya), serving customers in over 50 countries.
